As part of our mission to ensure children and young people are inspired by their music making, Sutton Music Trust (SMT) hosted our first Post 16 Opportunities in Music Fair.
Universities, colleges, conservatoires, and organisations from across the country attended the SMT offices to signpost students to a variety of study and career options in music. The event was attended by over 70 young people and their families.
Many other institutions were also represented, even if they could not attend on the day. A variety of flyers and brochures advertising their offers were available – they also provided other merchandise such as badges, pencils, and lanyards, which went down a treat!
[My son] learnt so much and came away determined to find out more about a career in Army music. Many thanks all involved.
