We are excited to share the news that we are working with composer Emily Barden on a commission for an anthem celebrating Sutton Music Trust’s (SMT) 55th Anniversary in 2027!
Emily is a composer, songwriter, choral director and workshop leader who specialises in co-creating songs and original work with young people in group settings as well as leading massed singing events across all age groups.
As part of the commission, we are asking the SMT community to share with us their thoughts, memories, and feelings about their experiences making music with us.
These words will be compiled and will form the basis of our song.
