Music Production

There are two courses that run aimed at ages 8-16. These courses are open to all skill levels and are a great way to find your sound.

Music Production Academy teaches young people how they can write and produce their own pieces of music using the web-based software Soundtrap.

Over Spring and Summer, students will write a piece of music for a short animated film in our ‘Music for Film’ module, learning the ins and outs of composing.

As well as that, they’ll have the opportunity to work with and be tutored by Amelia Dyson, a Pop, Soul and RnB artist and producer with over 35,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. She’ll teach them how to produce music in the style of their favourite artists in our ‘Sound Like…’ module.
