Starting on Friday, 30th September, and running through the whole week at Ensembles and Music Academy, Sutton Music Service held cake sales to raise funds for the Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Students and parents bought along a huge selection of home-baked goods and other sweet treats – students could donate and take their pick from the wide selection on offer.
After a week of fundraising, we are thrilled to announce we have raised a record £373 for Macmillan! This money will help Macmillan run a support centre for an hour, helping families affected by cancer to take a much-needed break by paying for a holiday grant.
We want to thank all students and parents who contributed and donated. We would also like to thank Helen Burgess, one of our tutors, for her support in organising this fundraising.
