At Sutton Music Service, we believe the experience of working, playing and listening together is hugely beneficial and hugely rewarding. Our Music Academy recitals are an opportunity for our young musicians to gain performance experience in an informal, friendly environment.
On 12th November, Music Academy hosted its 3rd recital at Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy, where Academy students performed for an audience of friends or family.
There were performances from all kinds of different instrumentalists, including violin, piano, trombone, vocals, and guitar.
“It was fantastic to see such a large turnout, we had a full programme of students stepping up to perform and a large audience to watch them! I was particularly pleased that two of our Academy ensembles, Don’t Fret! and Sutton Songbirds, were able to perform at the event for the first time. Taking part in the recital is a great way to help students gain confidence and performance experience, and I’d like to thank both the students and their families for helping the event to be such a success.”

The next Academy recital will take place on 4th March 2023, and we will send communications closer to the time about getting involved.
