Congratulations to Holly Payne – winner of Sutton Young Musician of the Year 2021!

Thank you to all the finalists who took part – Charlie Zhang (tuba), Danny Simpson (trombone) and Oscar Price (French horn). It was great to see such talent from everyone – well done all!

The judges were left with a tough decision because the standard of all four finalists was so high.

We are so proud of all the finalists and thank them for their contributions to the music service. Furthermore, we wish the students that are leaving us this term the best of luck with the next stage of their music journey and ask them to keep in touch!

Holly, Danny and Charlie are all off to study Music further. Holly has a place at Royal Holloway to study Music, Danny at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Charlie has been offered a music scholarship at Eton College. Good Luck!
