Our hashtag is an open invitation to every child and young person in the borough. Our aim at Sutton Music Trust is to help every young person in Sutton to make, be inspired by, and to celebrate the music they love. To achieve that, we listen to our young people to understand what kind of music they want to make and may want to make in the future. We are proud of our offer and even more so of the young people who flourish when they make music with us. We are particularly proud of our inclusive offer for those with additional needs and/or disabilities, and the profound positive effect that music making has had on our students.

We are very pleased to share some good news stories from three families below.

“I’d love to offer a testimony about Sutton Music Trust’s Supernova Choir. At Ethan’s SEN school, which specialises in supporting children with speech, language, and communication difficulties, there isn’t access to a choir. Without Supernova, Ethan might never have discovered his love for singing. This inclusive choir has been transformative. It has given him a voice, and now he proudly shares his singing at school. His confidence and communication have blossomed. My only regret is not taking this opportunity sooner. I hope other SEN parents give it a try. It has opened a whole new world for Ethan.”
