Below is a video overview of how to use Speed Admin as a Music Lead. You can view booked dates, your waiting list for instrumental and vocal lessons, and communicate with tutors and SMT.
Frequently Asked Questions
The deadline for orders is 22nd May 2026. This gives us the best opportunity to provide your preferred provision and start date. You can of course still order after this deadline, but SMT will not be able to guarantee provision or start date.
You can view all the fees in the Offer to Schools brochure. For WCET courses, to ensure continued high-quality provision, there is a one-off additional fee to subsidise instrument maintenance and set up.
Schools will be sent a Collaboration Agreement after ordering, which contains our full terms and conditions. Music leads or school staff need to sign and return this within 15 working days of receipt.
We have introduced a new and exciting tier system for WCET provision. If you order the LEARN package, you receive 30 weeks of whole class instrumental sessions led by an SMT tutor(s).
If you order DEVELOP, you receive 30-weeks plus a 20% discount on an hour of CPD led by SMT or a tutor. If you order INSPIRE, you receive a 25% discount on an hour of CPD, plus you also buy into a term of our “Future…!” programme, embedding a sustainable musical culture in school.
If you order DEVELOP or INSPIRE, you also receive a fully subsidised 30-minute workshop/assembly hosted by your SMT tutor OR you receive a free 30-minute consultation with a member of the SMT team tailored to your requirements.

Absolutely! We are excited to offer a variety of new and relaunched courses and provision for 2026-27. These include: “Future…!” continuation classes for Year 5 and 6; “Melody Makers” EYFS music sessions; a Piano Accompanying service and a Sheet Music Hire service.
To maintain consistency across our whole delivery, if you order 30 dates of WCET or extra-curricular provision, the dates will follow the same dates as SMT’s wider delivery offer.
On the order form, ensure you select the optional add-on “Year-Round Provision”, indicating the additional number of sessions required.
For provision starting in September, we aim to send invoices by the end of the Summer Term. If you have ordered provision for a single term (starting in Spring or Summer), we will provide an invoice before the delivery commences.
