Autumn Music Industry Masterclasses

Autumn Music Industry Masterclasses

LCCM & Sutton Music Service presents: Step into the Industry

Sutton Music Service aims to help every young musician in the borough to make, be inspired by, and celebrate the music that they love. We advocate music learning for all. We know that different types of music touch people in different ways, so we engage with and celebrate all forms of music and all abilities. Music is music!

Sutton Music Service regularly reviews the need in the local area, taking into account the feedback from children and young people, parents, and schools to ensure that we support as many students as possible to fulfil their musical ambition.

This autumn, Sutton Music Service has teamed up with the London College of Creative Media (LCCM) to deliver a series of free online Music Industry masterclasses. Called Step into the Industry, the workshops are for young creatives aged between 14 and 18 years old who want to learn about the crucial aspects of the music industry with staff and members of the London College of Creative Media community.

“Music Education Hubs are all about making strategic partnerships to create opportunities and outcomes for children and young people. Working with the London College of Creative Media enables students in Sutton to learn from young musicians who are only a few years older and already making their mark on the music industry. I think that the students who attend these sessions will find them inspirational.”
